Sammy Walukouw is an Indonesian musician known as the vocalist of Java Jukebox — a full album in 2019 and single “Coming For You” in 2021 already on the record. Now, from the United States where he’s based, he opens a solo chapter built on the same foundation: Jamaican music tradition.
The path toward this solo work grew out of direct access to Jamaica itself — its history, culture, and musical character, absorbed through firsthand visits. Experiences that pulled him deeper into reggae, rocksteady, and lovers rock.
His debut solo single “Can’t Get Enough” arrives in 2026 as a clear statement: lovers rock with a contemporary touch that keeps the melody soft, the groove smooth, and the classic romantic feel fully intact.
