Shanti-K meets Sister Maki Single Set “Revolution”

A Japan based dub producer, Shanti-K, has just released “Revolution“, a new mini album. This dub steppers EP is released by a well-known Cyprus dub label, Dubophonic Records.

Since the beginning of this set, the mystical aroma from the low tempo of the steppers and deep swingy bassline has been palpable. The percussion touch by Goja Bongos joined up serenely. Then The melody line came to fulfill the rastafarian-esque vibration. Next, the atmosphere warmed up by the presence of Orio who took over the melody through the melodious sound of the violin, which blended nicely with the melodica played by Aki Mittoo. Indeed, a huge energy that is delivered by a solemn composition.

The charm of vocals from Sister Maki, topping up the ambience. She seemed to be leading the congregation of listeners to deliver praises to reach the highest spiritual level. Inevitably, this chant feels not really far from praying.

Enjoy this “Revolution”! solemnly, and reaching high your level as high as you can.
