One of the most famous reggae outfits from Malaysia, Salammusik, is back with a new powerful form of work. On April 30, 2021, the single titled “Galaksi Rindu” was officially launched for the public.

Opened with the melodious strains of the saxophone wrapped with dubby effect ornaments and low bassline, this basic musical foundation of this song is so energizing. The serene melody of the piano amidst the music also successfully emphasizes this composition. A simple arrangement but has a strong and deep vibration which is so neatly formulated. 

This song still carries the distinctive style of Salammusik. Light lyrics about the yearning heart that are easy to digest are well presented by Salammusik. The background for each of his words comes from his yearning to be together with his band mates who live in Malaysia, Salammusik is currently living in the Netherlands. A global pandemic that is beating all sectors, has made Salammusik stop all activities to entertain the audiences from stage to stage. However, he has faith that the changes that will occur in future.
