Gaudi – 100 Years of Theremin (The Dub Chapter)

Together with some of the Top Ranking Sound Engineers, this latest album from Gaudi seems to bring back Dub’s experimental spirit to his homeland. It is not impossible, if King Tubby is still alive, Gaudi will also offer his mixing console table for him.

As a sound’s “magician”, Gaudi still has fascinating tricks. With his “magic wand” Gaudi presented awe-inspiring attractions in this “100 Years of Theremin (The Dub Chapter)” album. Tricks which are shown through 11 tracks with the flavor formula of “Plastic Smile” from Black Uhuru to The Specials’ “Ghost Town”.

There are no doubt that, names like Adrian Sherwood, Mad Professor, The Scientist, Dennis Bovell, and Prince Fatty in concocting the Dub vaccine in every release they produced.

This collaboration still presents the signatures of each of the names above. It’s not hard to guess how powerful this “collaboration vaccine” can be when it hits and dances on our eardrums.

Enjoy the celebration of 100 Years of Theremin and its magic, as well as the celebration of Gaudi’s magic!
