Fyah Burning – The Right Ten

Through the release of their rub-a-dubby single; “Irie Day”, Fyah Burning really captured the public’s attention. And now, with the combination of Ras Anatta’s originality and smooth touch in lyric department as a frontman, alongside the hypnotic beat and groove from Kuggah the selecta, this duo brings us their well tailored work of art through this 6 track Debut EP called “The Right Ten, from the very first track!

Greeted by “Youth Vibration”, the duo gently led us to turn the lighter, and come forward with its groove to the dance floor. This track is also infused with the eclectic eyes-closed moment melody by the sound of melodica.

“The Right Ten”, a track which became the title of EP, is another lead from Fyah Burning for us to keep the fire on. This time they bring fragrant sleng teng like Wayne Smith that never failed to encourage us to dance.

Fyah Burning now works our head to nod with their beat. The positive vibration of witty melody line is one of another reasons to give this track as one of their finest tunes on this EP.

Fourth track, “Automatic” is a digital roots with rub-a-dub touch. It feels like we are listening to Ras Anatta side by side with Ponchita Peligros. And Kuggah as the selecta underlined what Ras Anatta did with his vocal track effects.

Dark eye glasses, headphone and chilling on the hammock are the words to describe “Dubwise Selection”. Turn this track loud in the late afternoon, you’ll be pampered very well. Enjoy your breezing wind, this is an irie-guarantee track from Fyah Burning.

Starting with blaring sax, “Babylon Police” might make us guess this is a one-drop track. No, they experimented with groove changing composition. It reminds us of the Asian Dub Foundation’s “Flyover.” A witty jungle track.

This EP should also be highlighted as “Thai Dub Mafia” GA-PI (Jahdub Studio, Thailand) contributes to the audio department. Get your proper speaker and feel them track by track, aloud. SABAI SABAI!
