Yi Mas Gan Records is back with something that hits. “Presente” brings two French producers together under one release — roots and stepper, handled with intent.

Side A belongs to Stepper’One. “Nairobi” and its dub version carry a rhythm-heavy character that draws from the 1990s without getting stuck there — the contemporary touches land with real maturity. Side B is Benyah with “Bad To Worse”, riding a riddim foundation laid by Natural HiFi at Belule Studio, then expanded by Zulu Vibes Riddim Section alongside Crucial Rob, Macca Dread, and Meekman, before Ben Zulu Vibes took it to the mixing stage. Final mastering across all material was handled by Downbeat Mastering in New Zealand.

The latest entry in the Yi Mas Gan Records catalog has been available since June 1, 2026 — vinyl and digital, both through Bandcamp. What this release makes clear is that the sound system tradition was never just about the music. It’s about the network that builds it — studios, musicians, and engineers across different rooms, pulling in the same direction.
