After circulating exclusively as a dubplate since 2023, “Female Energy” from Jah Love Soundsystem and Darling Nikki has finally received an official release in 2026 through the powerful French imprint Culture Dub Records.

Jah Love Soundsystem is a sound system project from Warsaw, widely known for its active presence within the local scene and its involvement in a number of key reggae and dub events across Poland. Meanwhile, Darling Nikki is recognized as a multidisciplinary artist whose work extends beyond singing into poetry, rap, dance, and visual arts.

Built on a foundation of heavy sound system bass, the track is enriched with an electronic approach that leans toward dubstep. Darling Nikki’s vocal takes center stage, while the lyrics nod to the slackness aesthetics of reggae and dancehall tradition—reframed from a different angle, placing the perspective firmly in a woman’s voice.

On the production side, the music was composed, arranged, and mixed by Karol Tymoniuk-Iżyński. Mastering was handled by Dub Machinist, while the artwork was created by Radek Odpadek together with Darling Nikki. The project also received production support from A. Styś and AlexDub.
