WasDub is the moniker of Victor, a musician hailing from Court-st-Étienne in Belgium. He fell in love with Dub music at a young age, and his first experiences with the powerful vibrations of Reggae Dub festivals led him on an inspiring musical journey. It was at these festivals that he discovered the beauty and allure of Dub music.

WasDub’s musical journey eventually led him to delve into the production of Dub music. He learned alongside composer friends and drew inspiration from various artists, including Panda Dub, Woody Vibes, Ob.dub, THK, Bisou, and Dubanko. Furthermore, Jamaican music legends such as Lee Scratch Perry, Bob Marley, and King Tubby greatly influenced his work.

In his own words, WasDub explains, “With my first EP, ‘Atmosphere,’ I aim to share good vibes and provide listeners with a glimpse of my vision of Dub and how I enjoy it. My goal is to convey my passion for this musical genre while attempting to create a unique audio experience for those who listen.”
