Great Britain is an unquestionable source of outstanding figures in the world scene of Jamaican sounds. From a producer to a singer, ska to dub, and everything in between! One of the dub and reggae producers from Glasgow – Scotland, Escape Roots, is an interesting act to be watched from this land.

“Finn“, as he is called, is a young man who has run Escape Roots in the Scottish sound system culture scene for more than 6 years. He brings fresh reggae, dub and digital music as his repertoire. In addition, he also acts as a resident DJ for several prominent events. Such as an annual international event “Wee Dub Festival”, as well as the Glaswegian pride weekly event; “Walk And Skank”. For the last event, he shared the stage with some well-known local heroes, such as Mungo’s Hi Fi, Stalawa, Tom Spirals and the female selector Vixen Sound.

In 2020, he successfully released his debut album “PACK UP & RUN”. The Powerful names like Black Warrior, George Palmer, Tom Spirals, Jago, Dark Angel, Parly B, Dandelion, Cian Finn, Skari, El Fata, Tenor Youthman and Fierce Spiritual are the names that backing him up to delivering the energy he has in his work.
