British-born soloist who grew up in Jamaica, Mikey General, is taking part in a music collaboration project with a powerful sound system culture unit from France, O.B.F. This collaboration presents a fresh single titled “Hold Strong” under Dubquake Records.

O.B.F returns to present their rub a dub power through a highly solid deep bassline track. The work which was made in the winter of 2019 in the backyard of Nazamba’s residence (a very respectable dub poetry soloist) in Kingston – Jamaica also brings a really fine and solid brass section melody line.

Intelligently, Mikey General is able to convey messages about the daily struggles faced by the proletariat and about their interactions in the global bustle through a light riddim yet powerful nutritious groove.

“Hold Strong” is also available on 7” vinyl along with a dub version, in addition to being available on various DSPs.
