Hailing from Korat in Thailand’s Esan region, sound system collective and production unit Dubdah Soundsystem officially released their compilation “Korat Riddim Compilation” on March 6, 2026, now available across all streaming platforms.

The album features 13 tracks built upon a single riddim foundation, a production approach deeply rooted in the traditions of reggae and dancehall. In this format, one rhythmic composition becomes an open canvas for multiple vocalists to interpret in their own way.
The compilation brings together a diverse lineup of voices from Thailand and beyond, including MonkeyKing420, Singnoy, Zennote, Zeesky, Duffin Jame, Cornbread, Hr.Sticko, Yugo Taguchi, J-Rexx, and DADDY-T from Indonesia. This range of contributors highlights how a single riddim can function as a cross-cultural dialogue within the practice of sound system music. All tracks on the release were produced, mixed, and mastered independently by Dubdah Soundsystem.
As the project’s main architect, Dubdah Soundsystem designed the riddim with strong references to the aesthetics of 1980s–1990s dancehall. Firm drum patterns meet a dub-informed production approach, creating a musical framework sturdy enough to support each contributor’s individual style.
