Yaadcore, Jah 9 and Subatomic Sound “Police In Helicopter”

One of Jamaica’s most prominent and influential figures, Yaadcore, has brought a new work in the form of John Holt’s “Police In Helicopter” rendition. In this track, he invited Jah 9 and a New York based music producer, Subatomic Sound System.

The three names above bring medium tempo riddim in their dub effect plays from Emch (Subatomic Sound System). A production character that is attached to him. Larry McDonald‘s touch on the percussion department as well as the saxophone from Troy Simms further strengthens the track.

The collaboration between Yaadcore and Jah 9 as the main menu of this song is so wisely produced. The refrain of this song is so dense and thick too. Overall, the collaboration of the musicians in this song reinforces the new work of the “host” Yaadcore as a big name from the realm of Jamaican music today.

We recommend this track to be repeated on your list again and again, partly because the magical power of John Holt in this song is still there. And now, it comes with a new different style, an old school magic with a modern vibe!
