A talented young man from Glasgow – Scotland, Escape Roots, is back with his new track entitled “Side Piece”. He once again collaborates with a charmful talent, Wends.

Escape Roots presented this minimalist yet solid composition beautifully.  A light beat gently walks side by side with a deep enough bassline while a sweet melody from the brass section and lots of dub effect, (one of Escape Roots’ signature) wrapped this tune gracefully.

Wends then provides a fresh lyrical infusion of this song from a shopkeeper’s point of view. A “9-5 crew anthem” in dub!

This minimal and sweet tune is available in music video format and already streamable through many DSPs.
