SummerSkank420

“SummerSkank420” annual party which was initiated by the Bali Dub Club, was successfully held on April 20, 2021 at Humble Break, Bali – Indonesia. This is the 6th time this Jamaican music celebration that has been started since 2013 has been flown by the Bali Dub Club. Previously, “SummerSkank420” was brought by JAHBLESS_ORGNL. Qualified names that are often presented, of course, become a magnet for Jamaican music lovers in this country to come to this party.

At this “SummerSkank420”, the line-up that was presented was no less attractive than the previous year. At exactly 16:20 WITA, the performance was opened by the initiator of the Bali Dub Club and JAHBLESS_ORGNL, selector General Rie A.K.A Ririe Dread, accompanied by a rub dub set and backed by Jonskee as the MC. Followed by Cbee, a producer and dj of the Jumat Libur Sound System, who did echoing the roots reggae set.

The atmosphere got warmer when the ska and reggae outfit, Asian Corner, kicked off the stage energetically. Then came Floop, who often performed solo, this time giving a special set by the looping style as his trademark. The flames grew even more burning when Iwanouz, a skilled keyboardist figure, played the set. The atmosphere became more friendly as he played his repertoires, names like Ras Muhamad, Lyta Lautner were seen verifying this vibe.

Bali Dub Club continues to keep the intimate atmosphere. At around 23:00 WITA, the stage which was originally on the front side of Humble Break, moved to the backside with the vinyl session. Again, General Rie opened this part, this time he was accompanied by Japanese MCs, Ras Kova and Lyta Lautner. Gonzo continued to play his sweet reggae set through his vinyl collection. And, the “SummerSkank420” 2021 event ended with a classic reggae set from Dave Syauta of The Paps.

Bali Dub Club also has several exciting parties including “Massive Massive”, “Manuva” and “Propah” which deserve to be attended. Follow their official channel to keep yourself posted:
