Denny Frust LP “It’s Alright”

The figure known as the Prince of Indonesian Ska, Denny Frust, is back with a new release. His 4th LP, “It’s Alright,” which came with the strength of 8 fresh tracks, is now out and can be enjoyed on various DSPs.

The full album “It’s Alright” opens with the same title track , followed by “Kaulah Cahaya” and “Let My True Love Be Your Light.” From these first three compositions, we hear a variety of infused arrangement colors. In “KuTunggu Kau Pulang,” the ‘prince’ tried to convey the message about the relationships, love, understanding, and the longing for the loved ones. It seems that one of the ska soloists in this country is opening himself up to more experimental space, with songs like “Jangan Lupa Daratan,” “Don’t Leave Me This Way,” “Free,” and “Pesta Hari Minggu.”

Interestingly, the production process of “It’s Alright” also involved special figures such as Freed Gasa, Radit Echoman, and Rafi Sumantri. The finalization of mixing and mastering was done directly at Echolabs Studio, Jakarta.

Currently, Denny Frust is preparing for the promotional tour of his new album. In addition to visiting various cities domestically, he also planned to set some international destinations such as China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Mongolia.
