A new single collaboration of East Nusa Tenggara or NTT’s artists entitled “Nusa Flobamora’ spearheaded by Marapu is now available. Yanto Pekabanda, the band’s frontman, embraced Dian Sorowea, Marinus Kevin, and a choir from Maumere. The single also promoted ‘Sasando,’ an authentic music instrument from Rote played by the maestro, Izhu Nisnoni.

Besides releasing its audio format in all DSP (Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Napster, Tidal, Joox & Apple Music), the single also presents an epic video clip that has been launched on December 16th 2022. The creative videography involved videographers from various places in East Nusa Tenggara like Sumba, Kupang, Flores, Alor, Sabu and Rote.

‘Nusa Flobamora’ is a representation of Marapu’s new vision to promote culture, tradition, nature, tourism, and ancestral heritage through reggae music. Flobamora is an abbreviated name of Flores, Sumba, Timor & Alor (islands in East Nusa Tenggara). This unity project was written by Yanto Pekabanda, produced by Arnaud Pascal Mariani while mixed and mastered by Moehamad Cipta Gunawan. Distributed Digitally by All Styles Edition on the Indie label.
