The Gravelites, the Power Trio Ska Unit from the city of Salatiga, released their debut EP “7 Deadly Skank!” last May 2019.  Brings 7 deep and heavy Jamaican Sound tracks. Infused with touch of The Skatalites, signature harmony like The Pioneers, also the combination of The Aggrolites and Tokyo Ska Paradise with the details approach isnpired by the like of  Jackie Mittoo and Roger Rivas. The Gravelites put the classic first wave of ska with recent style.

Adya Nadira Razak (bass/producer), worked his composition with Alfa Thomas Pudji Handika (organ) since 2015. Prior to that, they each joined the Sun Rasta Shine / Skatones Army and Skaline outfits. Then Edward Aji Kuncoroyekti Supratignja (vocals) joined the club later. This Power Trio Ska Unit nicely blends the expanded formula of natural and organic sound of vintage rocksteady.

The Gravelites released the EP “7 Deadly Skank!” through their own musical imprint HellRat. And will soon release a full album whose process is being carried out at the Hyphen Studio, Salatiga. With Adya acting as the producer. Let’s look forward to this promising release of The Gravelites.
