Mpress Kandace is an Australian female reggae singer. Her sound is distinctive, powerful and emotive. As the former lead singer of roots reggae band Rasta Unity, Mpress Kandace has released singles such as ‘Sweet Love’ and ‘Youth Rize Up’ (feat. Lutan Fyah) premiering on Reggaeville.
She regularly performs in Melbourne at major reggae festivals and events including Reggae Cruise, Jamaican Music and Food Festival, Bob Marley B’day Bash, More Fire and many more.
Mpress Kandace has strong community connections and has coordinated and delivered community-focused projects such as Roots Culture Festival and Youth Rize Up reggae Workshops. She has a big passion about developing bridges between emerging artists and producers, which she once did in Belgium, USA and France. In 2018 and 2019, she had the opportunity to record and perform in Jamaica.
Mpress Kandace released her debut single, ‘Let Us Unite’, which was a collaboration with Californian producers Soultry Dubs and Stoney Eye Productions. Since then, she has released a string of singles, in early December, she released her latest single ‘Wisdom’. Now she is working on her debut album.
