Marcus Gad

Reggae has become one of the music which has successfully reached many parts of the world. Starting from its music lovers to the reggae musicians, reggae continues to rapidly and grow wider. From the South Pacific, Noumea – New Caledonia, comes a soloist known as Marcus Gad.

Marcus Gad came from a multicultural land, embodying the renewal of meditation roots and commitment to reggae that emphasizes the unique culture of his homeland. He spent 4 years traveling to various parts of the world to meet, gather and interact with various natives he managed to meet.

Mid 2014, he returned home after that, and went on to produce the EPs “Soul Talk” (2015) and “Purify” (2016). In early 2016, Marcus Gad returned to fly for his two European tours and a Reunion Island tour. His first LP, “Chanting“, (which was recorded at Studio Davout in Paris with his own band, Tribe) was released on April 14, 2017. Followed in 2018, with 3 singles titled “Praise Ye Jah“, “Wings Of The Wind” and “Children Song” with Tamal. The EP “Enter A Space” and the single “Deliver” then aired in 2019. A sophomore album “Rhythm Of Serenity” was released in 2020. As well as his 2 singles which he released the following year, “Brave New World” and “Tempo”, a reunion collaboration with Tamal.

A cultural ambassador from this South Pacific island, where nature and tribal are still highly and respectfully preserved, Marcus Gad relies on the power of Reggae to develop deep message and invite his listeners to find new reflections, his own invitations that related to a situations in which major changes must be made for the sake of humanity and life itself.
