Lady I is a jamaican music diva from Manila – Philippines. She released her debut album in 2009, “Freedom Time”, followed by a dub version of the album in 2012. The single “Brave Ones” in 2018 and 2020 with her acoustic song “Ma Baby”.

Her love for Jamaican Music has been flowing in her blood since she was a child, Lady I first performance was in 2004 with Reggae Mistress, a band formed by her family who is also one of the reggae music pioneers in the Philippines.

In mid 2007, she started to go solo. She built a music unit to support him in producing original works. The works which formed from a combination of reggae, dancehall, dub, soul and blues.

Through her distinctive vocal character, Lady I brings lyrics about free speech, about herbs as an alternative healing and the universal messages of love. An important message she tries to convey to her line of fans.
