Jamaican music with its nexus is indeed expanding and growing. From the musicians and the producers, they’re now everywhere, coming from many parts of the world. Starting from reggae, ska, dub, dancehall and many more. Jahwise, a talented producer from Brazil, who is now based in Melbourne – Australia, is one of the interesting names to watch.
Born as Elie El Ossais, he started his musical career 2 decades ago as a bass player. He had shared lots of giggs with several capable figures from Jamaica, such as Steel Pulse and Anthony B. Jahwise is also listed as one of the members of a supporting band for Ras Jah Know. His love of the bass sounds frequency, led him to explore the art of sound. In 2016, he went to Jamaica and did a recording session with Lutan Fyah, Derajah, Franklin Bubbler Waul, C Sharp and Wayne Armond at Tuff Gong Studio. Indeed, a great opportunity ever for him.
Currently, apart from producing music for several artists through Jahwise Productions, he is also a producer for reggae groups Crown Heights, The Natural Order and the duo Marvin Priest & Rik-E Ragga.
