Dubyouth Ft Taiwan MC “Rockin’ Steady”

The Yogyakarta-based music unit Dubyouth is back with their latest release, Rockin’ Steady. In this track, the Jamaican sound duo with an electronic twist collaborates with Taiwan MC, a French MC renowned for his mastery of the raggamuffin style. Released in February 2025, Rockin’ Steady comes under the banner of DoggyHouse Records, the music label owned by Indonesia’s prominent ska group, Shaggydog.

Duo Poppa Tee and D’Metz once again deliver an energetic composition with a medium-tempo arrangement. The track kicks off with powerful synths and trap-style hi-hats before flowing into a pounding beat and captivating bass, creating an undeniable dancefloor atmosphere. It’s easy to imagine how electrifying the crowd would be when this song is performed live.

Poppa Tee, with his signature vocals, infuses the riddim with smooth, lighthearted lyrics. Meanwhile, Taiwan MC adds a distinct flavor with his raggamuffin style, making Rockin’ Steady a perfect track to vibe to.

The final mastering touch by Filip Motovunski, a Croatian producer and sound engineer, further enhances the sonic character of Rockin’ Steady. Adding to its appeal, the artwork is crafted by Ferry Gouw—an Indonesian illustrator, graphic designer, and video director based in London. Known as the art director and illustrator for Major Lazer’s projects, including their albums and animated series, Ferry has also worked with legendary artists such as Paul McCartney, Sean Paul, and Roxy Music.

Rockin’ Steady is one of Kulturdotmedia’s top recommendations to stream on your favorite digital platforms. Blaze your Fire!
