The regeneration in the nation’s Jamaican music scene has improved well from time to time. This was marked by the emergence of several musicians and groups who gave their own touch with their own musical character. Coming from Mojokerto, East Java – Indonesia, a group of young people called Onerasta, became one of the names that is currently blooming.

This reggae outfit was formed in 2016. They started through the stage events of student parties. The commitment between them is getting stronger with the presence of their debut “Negriku”. They continued to strengthen their existence through the EP “Titik Cerah” by collaborating with two competent figures, Fredi Kayaman and David D’Sipil in 2019.

A personnel reshuffle occurred in 2020, Onerasta is currently lined up by Alvian (vocals), Valen (guitar), Dimas (bass), Dindut (keyboard), Badris (drums) and Vicky (percussion). With a refreshing line-up, they are back with their new single “Perspektif Negatif” in April 2021.
