Carrying a philosophy that they believe to be a good spirit and energy, this ska outfit  from the city of Jakarta calls themselves as Senin Pagi. For these 6 pieces ska unit, the word “Senin Pagi (Monday Morning)” is not a saturated thing which closely related with the boredom, it is a thing that must be fought for to color up our life.

Starting in mid-2017, this outfit originally was planned to bring the energy and signature of 2nd wave ska. After several line-up changes, this outfit has been transformed from their original idea. Each member brought the infusion for “Senin Pagi”, most of the line-up was influenced by punk rock, we still can feel the raw touch of Operation Ivy in their performance set.

Their line up now are; Deden (Trombone), Hamdi (Trumpet), Pulung (Bass), Mare (Drums), Ihsan (Guitar) and the frontwoman, Tika (Guitar + Vocal). They have released their debut single, “Keep It Up“. This track is dominated by delta chords, which perfectly match the melody line from their brass division. The lyric tells a working class story from their point of view. A song that still quite represents their basic idea when they were first formed.

Currently, “Senin Pagi” is preparing their debut which will be released soon. A set of works that will continue to carry their basic ideas. Will tell us about life, enthusiasm, as well as protests, and of course with their magic call to dance!
