Jakarta-based ska and rocksteady outfit Monkey Boots once again demonstrated its consistency as one of the key names in the development of Jamaican music in Indonesia. Marking its 20th anniversary, the band staged “XXTRAORDINARY INTIMATE CONCERT” on 11 July 2026 at The System Live Space. The event was presented by Rumah Bergerak, The Good System, and The System Live Space, featuring supporting performances from YUPS, DJ BIADAB, DIJE YOTOS X KIW, with ABYCOOL serving as the MC. The evening provided a welcoming gathering that further strengthened the bond between the band and its dedicated community of supporters.

Over the course of two hours, Monkey Boots took the stage with its full lineup, performing 24 songs across two sets. The opening set featured “Intro Beat of Ska x Big Monkey,” “Nusantara,” “Menuju Johar Baru,” “About Love,” “Pulang,” “LDM,” “Berdetak,” “Dimensi,” “Asa,” “Pekerja Keras,” and a medley of “Banyak Bicara x Strong Terus x Neraca.” The second set continued with “Sederhana,” “Terbayang,” “Kelas Pekerja,” “Ruang Hitam,” “20, Romansa,” “Groovin,” “Jangan Dilarang,” “Tunggulah Tunggu,” and “Djakarta.” Two special guests also joined the celebration, with Aldy Amis appearing on “Dimensi,” while WANCOY added a fresh dynamic to “Djakarta.”
