Protoje LP “The Art Of Acceptance”

Protoje returns with “The Art Of Acceptance”. His sixth LP, released April 17, 2026, is a wide-ranging musical statement that never loses its personal thread. Recorded in partnership with two imprints consistently pushing the evolution of modern reggae — Ineffable Records and In.Digg.Nation Collective — the album marks a new phase, quieter in disposition, and somehow heavier for it.

Sixteen tracks deep, this is a record built for the long listen. Protoje’s sonic range is genuinely restless — tight roots foundations, pulsing dancehall, and dub heavy enough to suit the dead of night. He arrives with a full roster of collaborators: Jesse Royal, Masicka, Shenseea, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Pressure Busspipe, and Stephen Marley. A lineup that reads less like a guest list and more like a sustained argument — that the ecosystem is alive, and that it holds each other up. Early glimpses came through “BIG 45,” “Feel It,” and “At We Feet,” alongside dub versions of select tracks that do real work as connective tissue, grounding the album firmly in sound system culture.

The Art Of Acceptance is an invitation from Protoje. A rare kind of call — the courage to stop pretending that every question demands an answer.
