One of the dub acts from Jakarta with a big sound system culture obsession, who always comes with a solid release, just dropped a new single in December 2021. Added to the length of its discography.

“Signal From East” is a single from Yella Sky Sound System in collaboration with Radit Echoman who lends sweet melodies through his melodica. An infusion that indeed sharpens the sweetness in this track. This dub act also brings two talented young people, Bean Lamen & J.C Junior who wrapped this “signal” in a classic stylee, bringing an atmosphere reminiscent of Musical Youth‘s “pass the dutchie”.

Agent K, the man behind the Yella Sky Sound System successfully brought all the “requirements” to enliven the dance floor with this track. Some acid-ish touch in a couple parts with solid bass and groove tracks and delay-laden effects are indeed a solid and stimulating signal to dance.
