“Yes My People” is the latest track by a Glaswegian female soloist, Soom T. This thick digital beat reggae track seems to give more wide space for Soom T’s vocal energy to coexist with the skank groove since the very first start of the song.

One of the distinctive features of this Glaswegian act is her solid raggamuffin she always brings. In “Yes My People” it remains the same yet sharper with her calls about awareness, something that she also shares in many of her beautiful lyrics she wrote.

We highly recommend this song if you miss the vibration of “Born Again” that she did in 2018. “Yes My People” is Soom T’s wit in a powered minor chord version like she did in “Bomb Our Yard.”

As curtain raiser from the upcoming album “Good” which will be released in April 2020, this single is indeed something that could show us what kind of other goodness that Soom T will bring on that LP.
