Basque based soloist Sistah Lore has released a single entitled “What Mek Rasta.” She collaborated with a charming producer and selector from Manila – Philippines, Soulsteppa. This fresh single was released by Japanese music imprint, OTO Records.
Soulsteppa brings her identity through her own vibrant dub steppa composition. This medium tempo beat with its consistent hi hat elements produces a powerful foundation of the whole composition. With a thick mystical rhythm and massive echo effect, “What Mek Rasta” is indeed a full nutrition single.
The rastafarian-themed lyrics in Sistah Lore’s vocal strains amplify the energy through the message in it. And harmoniously running side by side with the music.
“What Mek Rasta” was mixed by Red-I at Red-I Sound Studio, Manila – Philippines and the final mastering was done directly by the famous producer and sound engineer, Vibronics, at The Dub Cupboard Studio, Leicester – England. Enjoy the fresh track from these extraordinary women from across the nation through bandcamp. Where you can also get the vinyl version of this single.
