Sistah Jahia – “Hail Him”

Sistah Jahia, a female rastafarian from the island of Dominica, again presented her serene songs through “Hail Him”.

This track is one of the singles from the compilation “Hail Fari Riddim” which was released digitally by “Woolin’Box”. This song she worked on with High Wouler’s who was also assisted by Nazareken (drums), Dahbass (bass), Speedhigh (keyboards) and Congo Iyah (guitar).

This song brings a harmonious roots reggae through the sweet touch of the piano track, as well as the dub touch that is present to strengthen this composition.

The call to remember King Selassie is the main theme in the lyrics. As a staunch rastafarian, when you are in a down situation like now you should think of Haile Selassie. And continue to pray to the almighty so that things will be okay soon.

The solemnity of each piece of the lyrics combined with the deep musical accompaniment, generates enthusiasm to remain optimistic for the listeners.
