The British born songstress who was part of the final line of a punk music outfit, The Slit, has just released her new work. This time, she teamed up with a charismatic Jamaican singer, Jah9.

In this 3 minutes length of a song, Cook’s duet with Jah9 indeed enchanted by its “Tropical Pop” stylee. Vocal power of Cook’s through her fancy falsetto infusion undoubtedly could bring the listeners to their own contemplation by the atmosphere of a solid lovers Rock vibe.

The slick sound treatment from the duet of Youth & Michael Rendall for “Kush Kween” managed to amplify the charm of our protagonist on this edition. The single, which is another part of a curtain-raiser for Hollie Cook’s upcoming album in June, is so powerful. Something we can’t wait too long.
