The music unit hailing from Cipinang, East Jakarta, Highmoon, has once again enriched Indonesia’s ska repertoire by releasing new work. They brought a light composition titled “Rindu Pilu” in mid-October 2023.

The composition commences with a cheerful brass section harmoniously paired with the melodious sound of a violin. This combination has become one of Highmoon’s distinctive features in their repertoire. Despite having a moderate tempo, this track doesn’t diminish the call to dance while listening to “Rindu Pilu.”

The lyrics, with a touch of melancholy, beautifully convey the message of longing for the past wisely sung by the frontman, Aby Habibie.

In addition to the audio version, “Rindu Pilu” also comes with a music video created by the talented young artist from Kampung Rawadas, Alwi Raihan Fauzi. The video was filmed at Rumah Bergerak, Cipinang Muara, East Jakarta.
