Aset Negara is one of the sound system culture outfits from the capital city of Indonesia, their work always become one of the most awaited by the public. This time they do reinforcing their power with the “Illegal Sound” EP.

‘Illegal Sound’ comes with dubby and reggae touch through its riddim. The duo Jenggo and Boris had previously appeared through two highly anticipated singles. Through this EP, they succeeded in stimulating the ears of Indonesian dub music lovers. The harmony and maturity of the composition are the highlights of their works on this debut.

Jenggo, who acted as the singjay and played the melodica, beautifully provided an interesting infusion that made “Illegal Sound” as another force in Indonesian dub scene. Boris as one of the veterans of the Jamaican Sound scene in Indonesia has once again delivered his interesting touch in this EP.

This mini album was distributed in cassette form, in collaboration with Pita Hitam Records with a limited quantity. We certainly recommend getting this physical release soon. Be a witness to their illegal move through the sound, an illegally fun!
