The prolonged global pandemic situation has not reduced the productivity of dub outfit from Lampung – Indonesia, Roadblock Dub Collective. After releasing a set of dub poetry series last month, then on March 8, 2021, they presented an international collaboration with a talented female soloist from Manila – Philippines, Lady I, entitled “Vibe Up”. This collaboration seemed to convey a message of celebration from them.

This composition combines reggae, funk and infusion from Lampung’s music tradition. The mixing and mastering was done by Roadblock Dub Collective themselves and the illustrations were made by Nugroho Arif Prabowo.

The single is available exclusively through the  Roadblock Dub Collective’s bandcamp channel and will soon be available on other various digital music platforms.
