“Revolutionary Sound Army in dub” EP from Massaia DUBkillah

 

Massaia DUBkillah aka Elex is a dedicated activist of mexican Reggae Dub culture. Native of Queretaro, a city of Mexico, he has participated and shared his passion for music since 1998… He has been part of several Reggae bands of his town like Green Olive and Junkunus.

From 2001 to 2008, he shared national stages with legendary groups. This experience will bring him into international Dub promotion in Mexico, presenting artists like Jah Works, Webcam Hi Fi, Indica Dubs, Weeding Dub, Haspar, Brother Culture, Bukkha, Dubstuy, OBF, Mr Zebre and Jah Massive, among others!

In 2013, Massaia DUBkillah was born! Elex starts a new activity in music production, taking the path of Dub Steppa style. This will bring him to build his own Sound System, following the tradition of the ‘Do It Yourself’ movement.

2020 is a year dedicated to composition for Massaia DUBKillah, with the production of a first sung EP, named “Revolutionary Sound Army” It can be described as militant Dub Steppa, in the company of huge artists from the international Sound System stage : Blackout JA, Fitta Warri, Ras Demo aka Demolition Man, Lisa Dainjah, Lengualerta and Mowty Mahlyka aka Dark Angel.

This second EP has been released on Culture Dub Records label and is available in Free Download, dedicated to Dub versions and remixes by Iron Dubz, Mr Zebre, Bukkha, Mexican Stepper, Kutral Dub and Krak in Dub.
