After releasing a single titled “Brothers and Sisters” in September 2022, Orind, a ska punk unit from Jakarta, on February 18 2023 released their new single entitled “I Don’t Care”, a collaboration with Japanese band, Mayson’s Party, a very prolific ska punk band who actively touring in Japan and America.

Collaborations like this may still be rare or have never been done by other Ska bands in Indonesia before. In the process of making this song, the two bands actually worked together in composing the music, which was done in August 2021 where they communicated quite intensely.

“I Don’t Care” brings nostalgia to the triumph of Ska Punk music in Indonesia in the mid-90s. With the lyrics written by Dian (Vocalist), which tells about a condition that often happens to many people, many people feel judged so they are affected.

The single “I Don’t Care” was released by Favorite Records and can be heard on all digital music platforms.
