Jakarta’s own Ska Ensemble unit, Sentimental Moods, has just released a single. The single entitled “Oh Airin” is so special because it features a singer. As far as Sentimental Moods’ musical journey as one of the pioneers of ska ensembles in Indonesia, they have only released works with guest singers a few times.

“Oh Airin” is another musical exploration from Sentimental Moods, this time they bring rocksteady with pop and jazz infusion, something they have never done in their repertoire before. Hara Joshua‘s vocals on this track underlined the Sentimental Moods’ exploration.

This single is a curtain raiser for Sentimental Moods upcoming album which will be out early next year. Let’s look forward to their work while enjoying the opening track “Oh Airin” on various DSPs.
