Rendi Felani “Konyekx” (Vocals), Jefry Wijaya (Guitar), Angga Susanto “Ambex” (Bass), Rizdo Alfinsar (Guitar), and Sandy Ikhsan “Anyai” (Drums) are quintet from Bangka-Indonesia who brings Jamaican music. They have just released their debut mini album “Together Is Better” under Dub House Records, a music label based in Bandung, Indonesia.

This album presents at least 5 compositions resulting from collaborative experiments with Danil Usman, also known as Dnl FX, one of a prominent figure in the Indonesian dub scene. Together they brainstormed and recorded live at Goldsteps Studio, Sungailiat, Bangka. They bring a fascinating blend of 4 languages (English, Jamaican Patois, Indonesian, and Bangka Malay) lyrics in each track, such a bold move to emphasize the freedom of expression.

This debut, “Together Is Better” is now available on various digital music platforms to be checked.
