General Rie A.K.A Ririe Dread is one of the active Jamaican music scenesters in Indonesia. This selector who has shared his color for the local scene since 2004, often appears at many Jamaican Sounds’ gigs by playing his fascinating set which includes reggae, dub, jungle to drum n bass. General Rie was listed in the Top DJ.ID nomination in 2018. After moving from Jakarta to Bali, he initiated an intimate Jamaican music party called, Bali Dub Club.

Not only played at many intimate gigs and local scale festivals, General Rie has gone on several international tours. He has shared his energy and toured to Australia, Japan, India, Vietnam and Malaysia. He also had shared the stage with famous names such as Jason O’Bryan (Ex Dub Pistols – UK), Aphrodite (UK), Q – Mastah (Dub-Stuy, Brooklyn – US), DUB FX (AUS), Katchafire (NZ) , Tijuana Cartel (Aus), Reggae Rajahs (India) and others.
