Fascinated with reggae culture, selector Lion Rock & Ras Muhamad joined forces in 2008 forming Asia-Afrika Soundsystem. The group seek to introduce the world to an authentic soundsystem, the traditional Jamaican selector & toaster pairing, which is one of the fundamental models of modern day DJ & MC. Spinning everything from ska, rocksteady, dub to roots, Lion Rock plays a selection of cuts while Ras Muhamad interacts with the crowd vocally. The group’s catalogue is immense and their performance animated taking the audience on an excursion through the colorful world of reggae.
