To describe some works of this dub power duo, Roadblock Dub Collective is Digital and Ethno sound. Those are the main foundation of this Lampung based unit’s releases.

They back again to wander the ears of the listeners with their latest single “Sepinggungan” last June. Still with the same their own “Leppung Stylee” (Traditional/Ethno riddim from Lampung). With Digital touch, low bassline and swinging melodica line, plus ethno signature and traditional language shout out this track brings a vibe of tribal ritual from Lampung, hosted by Roadblock Dub Collective.

Teamed up with Terranova (Anjing Dub) who also collaborated to paint the words, multiplied the unique energy on this “Sepinggungan” (Lampung: Solidarity and Stick together). Positive tone of the lyrics about togetherness sung glamorously by Terranova feels the same like what Saffiyah Khan did in The Specials’ “10 Commandments”. If you take this track as in colours, then the music is magenta, and yellow for what Terranova did. A colourful collaboration track indeed.
