This Glaswegian collective is again invited us to join their celebration with their latest movement. This time through a compilation album entitled ‘Puffers Choice vol. 3’ which they released on November 13th. An eagerly-awaited compilation of forward thinking-reggae & dub selection. A signature release from heavyweight labels; Scotch Bonnet Records, which is the brainchild of Mungo’s Hi Fi.

This album also comes in vinyl LP format. A compilation album that presents an atmosphere of good times, lots of experiments, heavy bass and low frequency also comes with joy in a communal spirit. A selective curation through the finest “distillation” which is aligned in representing the collective values.

All the acts and outfits that were chosen by the team from Scotch Bonnet Records and Mungo’s Hi Fi  to participate is like representing the spirit togetherness on a global scale, world-class stars and world-class talents are present in this album. Although closely related to Scottish narratives, this album carries a global, interconnected message from artists and producers in the realm of world sound system culture in this album.

‘Puffers Choice vol. 3′ brings out lots of charmful talents. From the cities of Norwich, Bristol, then Ireland, also America, Sweden, Kenya, Uganda and New Zealand. A diversity that is shared via reggae & dub. A third full-time undertaking by Scotch Bonnet Records on behalf of the community, a cutting-edge exploration of a Jamaican music culture in bass and of course with good times and great fun!
