Beside its abundant natural resources, Papua also consistently gave birth to some qualified musicians. In the Jamaican sound scene, they gave birth to the likes of  the legendary unit Abresso to talented soloist Dave Solution, all of which could steal the attention of the music lovers all across the country. One name that we’d like to recommend in this edition is Wallo Wonda, a talented act  from Puncak Jaya, Lanny – Papua.
From a young age, Simeon Jemy Wonda has shown his talent. As a teenager, he plunged into the music scene by producing and releasing his own stuff. Wallo wonda brings an interesting work through the variety of languages ​​in its lyrics with his powerful vocal.

Wallo Wonda has released “4 (Komologwe Melanesia)”, “Segampangi”, “Yakomina” and most recently “Merry Papua” on his discography list. Works that he did, can be seen as his music manifesto to promote diversity with a variety of languages he chose like Lani, Indonesian, Pidgin, and Batak.
