The development of dub music in Indonesia is increasing. One of the indications is the birth of many dub acts from various regions in Indonesia. One of the driving forces is Radit Echoman, a talented and a very productive dub soloist/producer from Indonesia.
This young man who graduated from the fine arts study of the Bandung Institute of Technology started his musical career in 2007 and has been with Rastanada and Green & Blue music unit. In 2011, he started exploring dub through his solo project, Dub Dit Dut. He brought folk, reggae and blues infusion in 2014 through the Radit Nimpz project, before he decided to move to Gili Trawangan. On the island, he is listed as one of the line-ups of the Jah On Holiday, a reggae outfit from Gili, he also formed the Gili Dub Soundsystem unit.
In 2016, he cemented himself with a new and fresh moniker; Radit Echoman. With a live looping set. In 2018, he returned and settled in Jakarta after a great earthquake rocked Lombok. At this moment, he released the LP “Truly Gili”, which was quite successful in flying in various regions, both locally and internationally.
In 2020, He released two collaboration singles. “My Country” with Rasta Ressy and “Underestimate Me” a duet with Conrad Good Vibration.
